Tossed with olive oil and sea salt, sweet potato fries are an easy and healthy homemade snack or side dish. Serve with ketchup and vegan mayonnaise.
Ingredients
1 kg
sweet potatoes
1 tbsp
cornstarch
½ tsp
sea salt
2 tbsp
olive oil
½ tsp
ground black pepper
½ tsp
cayenne pepper
½ tsp
garlic powder
How to make

Prepare the oven on 210 degrees Celsius. Place a parchment paper on the baking plate.

Wash the sweet potato and cut them into fry-shaped pieces. Sprinkle the fries with 1 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper and other spices if you prefer them. Make sure all sides are covered.

Place the fries on the baking plate and bake fore 40 minutes. Swap and flip after 20 minutes until the fries are crispy. Don’t worry if the edges are a little bit brown: they will taste more caramelised than burnt.

Serve with ketchup or vegan mayonnaise. Enjoy!
