Kitchari, a traditional Ayurvedic recipe, is a nourishing porridge made from mung beans, rice, vegetables, and healing spices. This gut-supportive kitchari recipe is loaded with flavour and a great source of fibre.
Variation tips: for a sweeter kitchari, add one Medjool date per person in small cubes. I like to add some pickles; pumpkin, nuts and tahini as well.
